I remember very happy times with Nan at Tenterden swimming pool where I took my then young Grandson George to teach him to swim. We met Nan early on and became friends she was very kind to George without being over bearing, she was just a nice person and we will miss her happy face and having a coffee with her.
I am not a lot younger but I was always Grandad to her and she was Nan to me. She lived respected and died regretted.
